| Starting this fall, Central Maine Medical Center will embark on a two-year construction-renovation project that will expand both the Emergency Department and the lab. A project this large is exciting and means a lot of changes for getting in and out of and around the hospital. |
| And that’s why I’m here! My name is Tessa and I will be your guide as the project progresses. Now you’re probably thinking “This girl doesn’t even look like she knows what a power tool is, let alone what they do or how to use them. How’s she going to provide construction updates if she doesn’t know what she’s talking about?” And I have to admit I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to power tools or any construction-related tool for that matter. |

That’s where Jim comes in. Jim is our construction project manager and he will give me regular updates on what has been completed, what is in progress and what is on deck. He will lead me on a weekly tour of the project. I’ll take photos prepare an update to share with you. |
| Along with updates and pictures of the project, I will post information about the easiest, fastest ways to get around the hospital during construction. |
